Genesis Computing is a small studio, made up by Kae and Liz.
We’re both artists, programmers and musicians with the simple objective
of creating a platform in which art can be created and distributed freely.
Having a combined 20 years in both the music and technology industries, we’re looking to create
a new standard for artists and other creatives to be able to easily define their distribution rights, so artists can be
accredited duly to their work, allow it to be used how they wish through defined licensing terms, à la software licenses.
This core idea is what we call “Open Source Music”
Using this system, we can create a new standard for music distribution,
and allow artists to freely use their work in any way they wish.
We’ve implemented this idea to create dynamic, user-driven music in our game, Syscrack, a hacking MMO built
entirely on web technologies.
Our works
A part of Genesis Computing is our musical works, released under our own label, LFP.
Under LFP is our own music, alongside other friends whom have contributed their work to the repertoire.
